Happy Leap Day!

Happy Leap Day, 29th Feb 2012!

Is Leap Day today! 29th February! Once every 4 Years event and guess what, we have to work for free tomorrow.

Well for me it is not a very special day as I don't have birthday or anniversary or what. But, today is the 366th Day in the Leap Year. Which means we have that extra 24 hours compared to usual 365 Days where February only have 28 Days.

Leap Day Fun facts:

- February 29 is a date that only takes place once every four years, and is called leap day.

- According to Irish tradition, February 29 is a special day set aside where women may ask for a man’s hand in marriage.

- The probability of being born on a Leap Year are 1 in 1,461.

- People born during a leap year are called leapers or leaplings.

My Fine Dining at Royale Chulan

As part of our company Annual Dinner (Fairy Tales Night), we had a fine dinning dinner at Royale Chulan.

When it says fine dinning, it always meant that the food portion would be small you will be served a full course meal.Seriouly it super small and of course the plate presentation is unique and beautiful.

Suddenly I felt like I am one of the MasterChef judges plak.. haha..

This is our menu for that night

For Appertizer we been served with this beautiful dish called "Smoked Salmon Roulade with Grilled Scallops Toasted Mesclun and Dill Cream Fraiche"

For Starters we has lovely "Cream of Asparagus Soup with Garlic Crouton"

After Starters we been served with Refreshment-"Passionfruit Sorbet".

The Main Course was served with dish called "Chicken Ballotine with Braised Chestnut,Truffle Potato and served with Lemon Thyme Jus"

And Last but not least Dessert is "Royale Fantasy Sweet Basil Cream Brulee"

P.S: Overall the Food are quite delicious but too bad cause the portion are so small and I'm still starving after all.However, as always it's all about having that "Been There Done That" experiences :)

My Magical Fairy Tales Dinner..

I know it's super late but it's okay I still wanna to post this beautiful picture of mine when I became a cute Alice Wonderland at My Magical Fairy Tales Dinner hahaha..

This Dinner was held at The Royale Chulan Kuala Lumpur on 27th January 2012 ( exactly a month ago) and it's really loaded with crazy,bizarre,fancy and beautiful FairyTales characters (including me.. hehe)

I really love performance by a bunch of people who playing drumline like "strom the yard" cause they are so incredible and cool! and yes we had magic show too..and ya..don't be surprise we also had Dato Ac Mizal as our emcee on that nite..he really good and spontaneous and don't forget we also been entertained by malaysian superstar Ning Baizura..

haha..what a wonderfull and awesome nite huh..? and yes this year I won a lucky draw again.. **wink
